Spartan 117 the last surviving member of the Spartan II project a project thought of as the last hope of humanity for survival. This project enhanced the candidates bodies beyond belief. Training day and night the Spartans surpassed all expectations of the UNSC. Not even the Hell Jumpers could stand up to these mighty Spartans. Quicker reflexes, enhanced strength, vision and intelligence were all common traits among the Spartans. With their MJLONIR suits the Spartans stood as an intimidating force. Standing over 7 feet tall the Spartans were thought of as unstoppable. However not even the mighty Spartans could defend the once mighty UNSC fortress at planet Reach. IN the ensuing onslaught the invincible Spartans were defeated. Now Spartan 117 also known as the Master Chief is all that stands between humanity and its total annihalation by the Covenant an alien race made up of several castes. Highly religious the Covenant believe that Halo will lead to the Ultimate Journey and will stop at nothing to protect these sacred rings. What they do not know is that these sacred rings were not as they seem The ForeRunners created the rings as a weapon of mass destruction spreading a swath of destruction over billions of lightyears. Master Chief after facing many difficult hardships including a parasitic organism called the Flood, was able to destroy one of these massive rings. Tired of running The Master Chief and a small rag tag group of UNSC marines have taken the fight to the Covenant to stop them once and for all.
Due to recent events I have been forced to create these rules for the group. 1) Flaming of other members will not be tolerated. Not every member is of the same gaming caliber. 2) L33t talk will not be tolerated since not everyone can understand what the heck you are saying. 3) Each member of the group are issued 2 warnings before being banned permanently from the group. A) Warning are obtained through two methods: Flaming other members and spamming the group guestbook. More rules will be added as deemed necessary.

OMG they're coming out with a Halo movie! My friend is going to go balistic me and my friend are obsessed with Halo we finished the third one thousands of times and we always play Halo 2 which we love even more!

Well there has been much hopeful speculation amongst fans. Check out any video on youtube for Halo 3 and you'll get atleast one.
Beat your husband? Well the only thing I can suggest is practice practice practice. If you have xbox live do some online Halo 3. Playing different people online might give you some new techniques for killing.
I wasn't too sure, but that was what my husband heard. Anyways, how are you all doing? Can anyone give me pointers on how to beat my husband at Halo 3? He's really good. The highest I was able to kill him was 9 times.
If you mean is there going to be a Halo 3 group then no there isn't. You and any other member are free and more then welcome to talk about anything Halo. Could even be some random halo spoof you saw in the net.
There isn't going to be a Halo 4 as far as anyone knows at this point. There aren't any plans for it so I don't think things will change. The only game coming out Halo wise is Halo Wars.

They didn't can the Halo movie. It is coming out in 2009; according to my addicted fiance. I also heard that there is going to be a fourth Halo game.
